A letter from the Creative Director: Although I am drawn to the Web as my primary medium and consider myself a digital problem solver, I do not limit my project work, or my admiration of great design, to that space. One of my favorite new products in recent years is the Swingline Stapler that stands on end. This new version of an old standard succeeds because it both saves space and recognizes that most users pick up staplers instead of sliding a stack of papers underneath the arm of a resting one. The redesign incorporates simplicity, utility, and elegance, all of which are critical components of great design solutions. In my own design work, I apply these same criteria to ensure that the solution is successful because it is relevant to the user. I hope you enjoy browsing my portfolio.
